I want this so bad! Damn you Europe.
The latest Nintendo Direct had some juicy yet disappointing announcements. Lets start with the positive news.

  1. Tons of Characters and weapons to unlock in the adventure mode.
  2. Ganondorf is a playable character and he looks badass!
Now the bad news....
  1. That beautiful edition you see up there, yeah that one with the scarf...not coming to the U.S. It is a European only special edition. So technically bad news for us over here, great news for you lucky people across the ocean.
  2. There is costume DLC that is retailer specific. So be prepared to be upset that your Twilight princess Link outfit is locked away at Target or Ocarina of Time is Gamestop exclusive.
With Nintendo taking its first baby steps into the Pre-order bonus world, it is a shame they are falling into the trap of retailer exclusive content. The unfortunate thing with this situation is the fan base loves every iteration of the Zelda series and would love to have these costumes. No real chance of buying them on the store either as Nintendo is so isolated from a digital landscape. I will stay positive though as this game is looking like a lot of mindless fun.
