It's finally happened, Nintendo has signed an agreement with mobile company DeNA to produce mobile games based on the rich Nintendo IP's.
Now we have heard rumors and whatnot of Nintendo stubbornly denying any involvement with the mobile/smartphone scene to great dismay. Personally I feel that it has been a large missed opportunity for them. Poke'mon of all could be a huge money maker for them in terms of microtransactions. In that same vein they have to be careful in how they do this and not copy someones formula. Nintendo needs to do what they do best, innovate something already simple, and give access to a larger community for less money.

I'll leave that there as they didn't have any more information other than they'll discuss more next year.
So what do you think of this news? New hardware too early or is the Wii U dead in the water? Let us know in the comments below!
