Annnnnnd it has officially started, E3 news and content. Nintendo started it off big with their direct today announcing both Smash Brothers content and Amiibo figures.
Right off the bat the biggest news is that you can pick up 3 new characters (1 new and 2 from past games) today from the eShop: Ryu, Roy, and Lucas.
As you can see Ryu has a new stage with him. They've also added some extra stages with this update.
Right now you might be having a hard time connecting to the eShop to pick up these things but give it time and you should get in there without a problem. Personally I feel these are a bit pricey but ultimately they are adding the bread and butter to this type of game, fighters and stages to fight on. I bought them of course...don't judge me...I feel you looking at me!

Anyway the characters so far feel good to use with Ryu being the most interesting. He has an added layer of depth by changing the damage and moves depending on how long you press the attack buttons. Very strange to grasp at first but it's growing on me. Stay tuned for more information with Smash and E3.
