Monolith, the team behind The Fear and Condemned games has it's newest IP hitting shelves this October. Its called Middle Earth Shadows Of Mordor and it takes place in the sixty year span between The hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings. Monolith has dealt with The Lord Of The Rings before with The Guardians Of Middle Earth game, but Shadows of Mordor is much different then their last take on Tolkien's massive work of fiction. It's an open world action adventure game and from what we've seen so far it looks fairly promising. Personally i'm excited for it but i'm also not expecting anything to really rock my socks off. It draws most of it's inspiration from games such as Assassin's Creed and Batman Arkham City, that's not to say it doesn't have a few unique tricks up it's sleeve.
